Biography

The CEO of GreenParking, Sam Alawiye is a Lebanese-German multi-cultural professional with a vast international experience in the mobility- and parking industries for over 25 years as Project Manager, Sales Director, Entrepreneur and Executive of parking- and mobility companies in MENA, Europe and Asia-Pacific. He is driven to deliver high quality work by pursuing his passion for business, innovations, Green-Tech, and by acting as motivator and leader of a very professional team.

Under his leadership as CEO, GreenParking has become known as the premier brand for environmentally friendly parking- & mobility solutions in the MENA region. It has also developed into being one of the leading suppliers and operators of Smart Parking Services and THE pioneer of Smart eMobility Solutions in the GCC. Based on these principles, GreenParking grew from a startup of 3 members to over 500 dedicated and motivated team members, positioning the company as the number 1 parking operator in Dubai and as the number 1 eMobility solutions provider in the GCC.

The Company now operates over 50 car parks with state-of-the-art systems and has successfully supplied over 600 electric vehicle charging points that build the backbone EV-charging infrastructure of Dubai. In addition, the company has developed its own electric vehicles charging network across the UAE and Oman, which is the first and only cross border network in the region. This free of charge EV-Network allows electric vehicle owners to travel through the Emirates and cross-border all the way to Muscat by using a topnotch smartphone app, developed in-house, which provides multiple helpful and advanced features, statistics & value added service options. It is currently being expanded to cover all GCC countries.
